Hi Xavier,
According with a lot of peoples (tourists and Thais) this is maybe the most beautiful part of Thailand, the scenery practically models for the camera.Beaches, cliffs, islands, temples, peace or nightlife, the province sells itself.

Rather than focus on why you should visit Krabi – that question is answered within the first few seconds – we’re giving you a pictorial holiday planning buddy. Beaches and temples. Nightlife and hotels. Natural wonders and thrilling adventures.

Like Phuket, it s a kind of paradise for the divers Pee Pee islands and Hong islands are the best spots for enjoying the submarine fauna and flora.
Also the beaches like Railay, Phra nang and Tonsai on the mainland are, at least, ones of the most beautiful of Thailand, take a boat for Poda island (just in front of Ao Nang beach) it takes 20 mins to reach it, the coral reef lies about 20 metres from the beach with a variety of sea life, irresistible for snorkelers and day trippers Wink

The water activities are not so developped in Ao Nang yet, as the government wants to preserve the site as natural as possible... sunbathing, snorkeling and diving are the main activities on the beach.

Sea activities

Post  Korean Tiger on Sun Nov 30, 2008 1:02 am

Hey Xavier,

I came few years ago and trust me it's the best place for those activities related to the sea like diving and snorkling and kite surf. And it's also cheaper than in the country where I live (berlin) and much more warmer. -5 degree now in Berlin. Trust me, you will enjoy!!!

See you, I will be there in two weeks! cheers

And I never fight even I practice Karate since many years! Is it possible to fight as well even we are not professional! I don't know buddies if all of you have already fought in the Ring!!!!

Hi Chemical,

I will arrive at christmas and i am gone be there 6 weeks! I will stay only few days in Bangkok but I will not stay there for long, just because it's to polluted in Bkk! I prefer to train at the sea near a beach!
To have good time, I just need the Thai Boxing, the beach where I can dive and my restaurant on the beach! And fuck Bangkok and the pollution!

See you there in tree weeks!!!

Emerald-Gym Ao Nang Krabi ROCKS!!

Post  docthailand on Fri Mar 20, 2009 10:15 pm

In Ao Nang Krabi it is still a hidden Paradise, many Beach & Island activities,
old school Muay Thai to experience and see at the big Stadium. PLUS there is
some great Temple and Site seeing Hikes that we use for a workout.

Oooooo my name is Daniel C. Docto aka DOC and I promote Muay Thai in
Ao Nang Krabi, write Magazine articles, announce Fights and God willing will
fight at the stadium too ... have to keep the heart strong. ;-)

Phra JAO uay phra pon, Doc. ;-)
